📜 Story (Fiction!) 😂

Old Man Tiber, the village carpenter, had a very important job every year. He was the one who made and put up the “North Pole” sign. It wasn't just any sign; it was the official welcoming marker for Santa's speedy arrival! 🔨❄️

Every November, Tiber would carefully select the tallest, straightest birch tree, then attach a freshly made sign. This year, though, he decided to make the pole a bit more festive. Instead of plain birch, he painted it like a giant candy cane – bright red and white swirls all the way up! 🍭

As he was setting the sign in place, a flurry of fluffy snowflakes began to fall, clinging to the edges of the sign and making it look extra magical. Little Elsie, bundled in a warm coat and hat, gasped with delight. “It’s beautiful, Mr. Tiber!” she exclaimed. 👧

Tiber smiled, “It needs to be, Elsie. This sign tells Santa we’re ready for him! It shows him where to find all the good little boys and girls.” He chuckled. “And it reminds everyone that a little bit of magic is always near.” ✨

Soon, the whole village gathered around the sign, admiring Tiber’s handiwork. They dreamed of sugar plums, reindeer hooves on rooftops, and the jolly laugh of Santa Claus. As the snow continued to fall, they sang carols and waited with joyful anticipation. 🎶
