 | A delightful ice cream treat topped with chocolate sauce and served with wafer rolls. It’s a sweet and creamy delight for all ages! 🍦
The first ice cream parlor in the USA opened in New York City in 1776, serving vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors! 🍦🇺🇸
The dessert was named after an opera character called 'La Dame Blanche' (the White Lady) from a popular 19th-century show! Some say it was invented by the famous chef Auguste Escoffier, who wanted to make a special treat as elegant as a princess—so he combined vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. Now every time you eat a Dame Blanche, you're tasting a dessert inspired by a magical opera! 🎭🍦🍫 |
